23 May 1964

n 1964, France issued a single 60-centime stamp to commemorate the 800th anniversary of the cathedral. The 1964 commemorative features the Madonna and Child from one of Notre Dame’s three rose windows. All three windows survived the 2019 April 15 fire.

North Borneo ( Sabah ) - British Crown Colony

British Crown Colony

1 Jul 1946 – 30 August 1963

From 1946 until 1963, the Crown Colony of North Broneo issues stamps. The first issue is an overprint on 1939 serues, the overprint being an emblem with a crown and ‘GR', and 2 bars strikethrough the “~~STATE OF~~ NORTH BORNEO“ and “~~BRITISH PROTECTORATE~~”.

Subsequent issues are of the standard design issued in many British colonies.
