For the first time in history, an image of the city of Treviso is reproduced in the Italian Stamps: it was on November 30, 1980.
Guglielmo was the winner of the National Drawing Competition organized by the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato in Rome and addressed to all students of secondary level schools in Italy. The drawings sent to the contest were more than 300.000! A first selection in the Capital picked a shortlist of 32 finalist who, behind closed doors in the Conference Room of the Poligrafico Building, had to repeat the test under the watchful eyes of the Jury.
