Hari Wartawan Nasional (HAWANA) 2026 was celebrated on 20 June 2026 in Penang, bringing together media practitioners, journalists, and industry stakeholders to honour the important role of the press in nation-building and informing society. The annual celebration recognises the dedication, professionalism, and contributions of journalists in promoting responsible reporting and strengthening public awareness.

To commemorate this meaningful occasion, Pos Malaysia issued a special Personalized Stamp (Setem Ku). The commemorative stamp serves as a lasting philatelic tribute to HAWANA 2026, celebrating the enduring values of press freedom, integrity, and excellence in journalism. It also reflects Pos Malaysia's continued commitment to preserving significant national events through the art of stamp collecting, creating a memorable keepsake for collectors and the public alike.

Pos Malaysia Berhad issued a set of five special stamps with snake-themed design, featuring traditional Chinese blessings in conjunction with the upcoming Chinese Lunar New Year.

According to the Chinese Zodiac, the snake, the sixth animal in the Chinese zodiac cycle, symbolises transformation and fortune in Chinese culture.

The limited-edition ‘Setem Ku’ set, available at RM28.00, includes a sheetlet with five distinctive stamp designs, each bearing an auspicious Chinese character: 福 (good fo,rtune), 吉 (auspicious), 旺 (prosperous), 满 (abundance), and 康 (good health).

The set also comes with a specially designed envelope, a festive postcard and three red packets (ang pow).

Jambatan Kereta Api Guillemard yang terletak di Tanah Merah, Kelantan diambil namanya sempena nama Gabenor British (Gabenor Negeri-Negeri Selat dan Pesuruhjaya Tinggi Negeri-Negeri Melayu) pada masa itu, iaitu Sir Laurence Guillemard. Jambatan sepanjang 609.6 meter ini dibina pada tahun 1920 dan siap pada Julai 1924.

Selaras dengan usia 100 tahun jambatan kereta api ini pada 19 Julai 2024, RAC telah mengabadikan sejarah jambatan rel terpanjang di Malaysia dengan menerbitkan setem dan folder khas dengan kerjasama Pos Malaysia Berhad.
