Malaysia 2015 Coronation of Sultan Nazrin ( Perak )

Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin was born on 27^th November 1956.  Proclaimed the Raja Kecil Besar on 16^th February 1884, and the Crown Prince on 15^th April 1987.  On the 28^th May, 2014, the Dewan Negara Perak unanimously elected Nazrin the 35^th Sultan of Perak,  then proclaimed the sultan on the 29^th April 2014.

Sultan Nazin attended Jalan Kuantan Primary School, and St. John’s Institution, KL before further his education at the Leys School, Cambridge.  He subsequently obtained a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford and a phD in Political Economy and Government from Harvard University.

Sultan Nazin is married to Tuanku Zara Salim.  They have a son, Raja Azlan Muzzafar and a doughter Raja Nazira Safya.
