Malaysia 2012 World Gas Conference
Known as the ‘Olympics’ of the gas
industry, the World Gas Conference (WGC) is a triennial event organized by the
International Gas Union (IGU). This year’s WGC is hosted by the Malaysian Gas
Association (MGA) with PETRONAS as the host sponsor. The 25th WGC (WGC2012)
with the theme “Gas: Sustaining Future Global Growth”, took place in Kuala Lumpur, from 4-8 June 2012 .. During this period of
time, captains of the gas industry will converge in Malaysia’s capital city to
share information on the latest advancements in technology that will be
beneficial to the industry and the world as a whole.
Malaysia is the first country in the
world to issue the Commemorative Stamps for WGC.
The WGC 2012
Commemorative Stamps features the four main concepts in the gas industry which
are Securing Gas Supply, Enhancing Gas Demand, A Sustainable Future and Foundation
For Growth.
