France 2024 Tresors de Notre Dame

On April 15, 2019, a fire destroyed the cathedral’s spire and most of the roof. French President Emmanuel Macron immediately promised that the cathedral would be rebuilt in five years, and the reopening of the cathedral is scheduled for December 2024.

 

The Treasures of Notre Dame series began in 2020 with a July 17 issue showing exterior decorations of Notre Dame. A 2021 souvenir sheet features a stained glass window depicting Adam and Eve. The 2022 sheet and 2023 sheet show a pipe organ and bell, respectively.

 

The 2024 souvenir sheet shows the wood framework of the cathedral. Nicknamed “the forest,” the framework of Notre Dame measures about 330 feet (100 meters) long and 33 feet (10m) high.

 

Carpenters reconstructed the framework using the wood from approximately 1,400 oak trees.

Taiwan 2020s 注音符號

注音符号（也叫ㄅㄆㄇㄈ）是用来表示普通话发音的符号系统。是在20世纪初（大约1913年）发展出来，目的是帮助人们学习普通话的发音。目前主要在台湾使用。

它有37个符号，分为辅音（21个）和元音（16个），用来帮助学习普通话的发音。每个符号代表一个音，例如ㄅ是“b”音，ㄧ是“i”音。注音符号常用在字典和教材中，特别是儿童书籍里。

Singapore ATM Stamps

Singapore Post 's experience with ATM vending machines began in 1988 with the installation of PLVM ( Postage Label Vending Machine ) equipment manufactured by the British firm Almex ( Metric Parking Group ). The machines resembled parking meters; in fact, they were an adaptation of a standard Almex

These machines were installed in post offices and various public places, totaling 49 units ( nos. 0001 to 0048 and 0050 ) in operation from 1989.

The Almex machines operated with coins and offered 16 basic programmed postage values . They did not give change in coins but rather in other ATMs worth 5 and/or 10 cents.

These stamps feature pre-printed colorful designs, but the actual postage value is printed on-demand by the machine at the time of purchase.

France 2024 Aeroport Paris-Charles de Gaulle > 50 Ans

Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (French: Aéroport de Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle) (IATA: CDG, ICAO: LFPG), also known as Roissy Airport (Aéroport de Roissy) or simply Paris CDG, is the main international airport serving Paris, the capital of France. Opened in 1974, it is in Roissy-en-France, 23 km (14 mile) northeast of Paris and is named after World War II statesman Charles de Gaulle (1890–1970), whose initials (CDG) are used as its IATA airport code.

Charles de Gaulle Airport has three terminals: 

Terminal 1 is the oldest. It was designed by Paul Andreu in the image of an octopus. It consists of a circular terminal building which houses key functions such as check-in counters and baggage claim conveyors. Seven satellites with boarding gates are connected to the central building by underground walkways.

Terminal 2 is located at another side with 7 sub-terminal buildings (2A to 2G). Terminal 2 was originally built exclusively for Air France; since then it has been expanded significantly and now houses other airlines. 

Terminal 3 (formerly known as "Terminal 9") hosts charter and low-cost airlines. The CDGVAL light-rail shuttle connects Terminal 2 to Terminals 1/3 and their parking lots.  Terminal 3 is located 1 km (0.62 mi) away from Terminal 1. It consists of one single building for arrivals and departures.  Terminal 3 has no boarding gates constructed and all passengers are ferried by airport buses to the aircraft stands.

Ceasefire now!” melalui Kempen Pengiriman Poskad Khas kepada Setiausaha Agung Pertubuhan Bangsa-bangsa Bersatu (PBB) sebagai usaha menyuarakan aspirasi rakyat Malaysia bagi menuntut keadilan dan keamanan Palestin.

Kempen ini merupakan kerjasama antara Kementerian Komunikasi dengan Pos Malaysia Berhad bagi mewujudkan satu saluran untuk membolehkan rakyat Malaysia menyalurkan pandangan kepada PBB dalam memelihara keamanan dan keselamatan sejagat.
