Malaysia 2018 SetemKu "Mazu"

 

In conjunction with Mazu’s ascension to heaven on the 9th day of the 9th month in the lunar calendar, The Selangor and Federal Territory Hainan Association (Thean Hou Temple) has set October 5-7, 2018 as the ‘Malaysia Mazu International Cultural Tourism Festival’. These 3 days of cultural activities started with the official launch of 700 covers of Mazu stamps.  These four designs of stamps are the posthumous masterpieces of the late Mr. Peter Khang Howe Ket who was of the Hainanese descent, whom passed away on August 15, 2018.

2018年10月5日，天后宫举办“2018年妈祖国际文化旅游节”欢迎晚宴上，推出妈祖邮票与首日封，这乃是全国首创！  为了弘扬妈祖立德、行善、大爱精神，同时推广国内旅游业，本会与马来西亚邮政公司（POS Malaysia）合作，特别推出由已故邮票设计大师唐辉杰精心设计，具有收藏纪念价值的4款限量版妈祖邮票。这4款邮票设计包括天后宫、妈祖、妈祖护航及八佾舞。
