F. Divella SpA is an Italian company operating in the food sector founded in 1890 in Rutigliano , in the metropolitan city of Bari . It produces durum wheat semolina pasta , biscuits , vinegar , olive oil , rice and ready-made sauces and other products.
The company was founded in 1890 , when the
founder Francesco Divella built the first mill for grinding wheat in Rutigliano
( BA ), a small agricultural municipality in the center of the vast Apulian
plains , a place of cultivation of durum wheat.
In 2015 the company invested 30 million euros in the new production lines. It also produces 220,000 tons of pasta, 45 tons of fresh pasta and 90 tons of biscuits. Divella® also exports its products abroad, mainly to Germany, France, England, India, Japan, Canada, USA, Central America, South America and Australia.
